The platform

How Alibi Connect works.

A clear, verified process for every party, from first listing to settled trade.

The core loop

List. Verify. Trade. Track.

Every transaction on Alibi Connect follows the same verified loop, whether you're trading copper cathode out of Zambia or wheat from Ukraine. The steps are the same. The standards are the same.

01 / Suppliers

For suppliers and sellers

Reach verified buyers across multiple markets. Every listing you post is reviewed, indexed, and surfaced to qualified buyers in your commodity class.

Step 01

Register your organisation

Complete the supplier onboarding form. Provide your business registration, regulatory licences, and sector certification documents.

Step 02

Pass compliance review

Our team reviews your documents against the applicable jurisdiction's requirements. You're notified within 24 hours of outcome or follow-up requests.

Step 03

List your lots

Post commodity lots with grade, quantity, origin, delivery terms, and supporting certificates. Listings are searchable as soon as they're verified.

Step 04

Respond and trade

Receive quote requests from verified buyers. Negotiate terms through the platform and complete transactions with full documentation on both sides.

02 / Buyers

For buyers and procurement teams

Source verified commodities from verified suppliers. Every listing comes with documentation you can audit before you commit to a quote.

Step 01

Register as a buyer

Create your buyer account with company registration and procurement authority documentation. Sector-specific KYC applies depending on your market.

Step 02

Browse verified listings

Filter by commodity type, grade, region, delivery window, and certification status. Every listing shown is from a verified supplier with documents on file.

Step 03

Request a quote

Send a quote request directly to the supplier. Negotiate quantity, price, and logistics terms through the platform's secure messaging and proposal system.

Step 04

Settle with confidence

Finalize terms, confirm delivery, and access the full audit trail — certificates, inspection reports, and correspondence, at any time after settlement.

03 / Verification

What "verified" actually means.

We use "verified" precisely — not as a marketing word. Here is what is reviewed before that badge appears on a listing.

Supplier verified

Organisation identity

Business registration, director identification, and beneficial ownership confirmed against official registries in the supplier's jurisdiction.

Licence checked

Export and trade licences

Relevant export licences, mining permits, or agricultural trade authorisations are validated with the issuing regulatory authority before approval.

Documents on file

Lot documentation

Each listed lot requires a certificate of origin, assay or grade report, and an independent inspection certificate before the verified badge is issued.
